Birding for Beginners at RSPB Titchwell Marsh

05 Jan-16 Jan • RSPB Titchwell Marsh

Titchwell Marsh is a haven for nature lovers, teeming with birds, small mammals, and a rich variety of wildlife. Join us for a Birding for Beginners Walk and experience the beauty of winter wildlife. Even in the colder months, nature is alive with activity—spot hardy species such as migrant Finches, Warblers and winter Thrushes while learning the basics of bird identification and behaviour. Our friendly guide will share tips on using binoculars, recognising calls, and appreciating the seasonal changes that make winter birding so special.

Whether you’re curious about seasonal birds or looking for a peaceful outdoor escape, this walk is the perfect way to start your birding journey. Expect to walk approximately three miles, but don't worry - there is plenty of seating along the way and you'll pop into one or two hides during your tour. Remember to dress warmly, waterproof footwear is recommended. Unfortunately, this event is not suitable for dogs other than registered assistance dogs.
