At its heart is a young woman in service to her tyrannical stepfather and his selfish daughters. Despite the hardship and cruelty she endures, her unwavering kindness warms the heart of everyone she meets, including a young prince seeking a bride. Rossini masterfully weaves in elements of disguise and mistaken identity, keeping audiences both entertained and captivated by the story’s twists. The Prince’s quest, the stepfamily’s scheming, and Cinderella’s transformation are all brought vividly to life through his sparkling score, making the experience as enchanting as the tale itself and affirming the timeless belief that dreams really do come true. Melissa Gregory, Joseph Doody and Matthew Hargreaves lead an all-star cast for a family friendly production directed by Wayne Morris, choreographed by Jenny Weston and accompanied on piano by Music Director Bryan Evans.
