Ruth, Lady Fermoy Memorial Concert

In Busoni's transcription of Bach's celebrated Chaconne and Liszt's Sonata in B minor we find two titanic works of the piano repertoire. Rachmaninov's Preludes bring Russianstyle virtuosity to the programme and Ravel's French impressionism adds colourful imagination to the landscape. In the 2025/26 season Boris Giltburg appears as soloist with major orchestras across Europe and is resident artist for the Dresdner Philharmonie.
