Winter Watch - Sea ducks and shorebirds

07 Dec • RSPB Titchwell Marsh

Winter is a magical time to observe coastal birds, with species arriving from colder climates to feed and shelter along our shores. Join us for a refreshing walk along the shoreline as we scan the waves for seasonal visitors such as diving ducks, Grebes and rafts of Scoters. Taking advantage of the outgoing tide, you'll also look for waders and other birds feeding on exposed sand and oyster beds. The walk to the shoreline will take you past reedbeds and freshwater lagoons teeming with winter wildfowl and waders, so much to see!

Binoculars and telescopes will elevate your sea-watching experience allowing close up views of distant species and birds in flight. So, bring them if you can!

With no more than 6 people on this event, it is designed for bird watchers who want to elevate their winter bird watching experience in the company of expert guides. Recommended age for children is 14+ years for this event.
